I started Slateroof after watching good homes sit because their photographs apologised for them — dark rooms, leaning walls, skies like dishwater. Listing photography has its own discipline, and it is the only one I practise.

No weddings on weekends, no portraits between shoots. When you book Slateroof, the person who answers is the person who arrives, and the gallery that lands the next day was edited at my desk, not outsourced.

Bright, honest, on time

Three rules govern every Slateroof shoot. Rooms are lit the way buyers will live in them — no mood lighting that hides the size. Verticals stand straight and colours match from the hall to the bath.
